Students of West Bengal can apply for Chief Minister Relief Fund (Nabanna) Scholarship for their higher studies. A scholarship is nothing but a energetic subject (in terms of money) that energies a students for higher studies and encourage for a good result. 
This scheme of scholarship is for Post Graduate level (passed graduation), Graduation label (passed higher secondary) and for Higher Secondary (passed Madhyamik) students. ELIGIBILITY

Educational Qualification:

• Higher Secondary Level : 65% aggregate marks in class 10th 
• Graduation Level : 65% aggregate marks in Higher Secondary 
• Post Graduation Level : 55% aggregate marks in Graduation

Others Qualification:

• candidates must have to be permanent resident of West Bengal.
• The maximum family income of the family of the candidate must be within 60000 per annuam.
• Only those candidates are eligible, who are not enjoying any other scholarship or stipend in the same course.
• Students must have to admit in any of the institution in state after either their state board or state aided university.

AMOUNTING SCHEME

• The Eligible candidates will get Rs. 10000/year of your current course duration.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1) There are two process for applying 

• Through Plain Paper - Write a fresh application on own handwriting with sign
• Through Application - Download and fill up the application form

2) Attach the ''Recommendation copy of MLA or MP'' or ''Self Declaration'' copy issued by Head of your current institution.

3) Attach the mandatory documents. (mentioned below)

4) Submit the application form at Nabanna, 14th Floor, 325 Sarat Chatterjee Road, Shibpur, Howrah- 711102.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

• Mark sheets of all previous examination passed.
• Rank card & Allotment letter of Selection Committee (only for JEE or Equivalent Examination).
• Monthly Family Income Certificate from any one mentioned within the bracket – (DM/ SDO/ BDO / Group-A Govt. Officer not below the rank of Joint B.D.O./ Executive Officer in case of Municipality / Deputy Commissioner of Corporation).
• Recommendation copy of MLA or MP to the Hon'ble Chief Minister stating monthly family income of the student.
• Self declaration of the student under his/her signature regarding present course of study mentioning year/semester and receipt of any scholarship / aid/assistance, duly countersigned by the head of the Present institution with seal.
• Self Bank Account details (IFSC Code, Branch Code, Branch Name, Account Number, Bank Name) with photocopy of Bank Pass Book.
• Photo Copy of tution/admission fees book.
• Contact Details and self Mobile No.
• This Financial assistance is processed by Chief Minister’s Office and CMRF cell. The selection of candidates is purely based on merit or score in the previous examination. This financial assistance (money) is directly transfered to their Bank account.
